Since inception, South African Travel Centre has developed a significant footprint, with branches in the major commercial centres across South Africa, as well as Botswana, Lesotho, Zambia and Ghana. Through carefully selected partnerships and preferred suppliers, we are able to access and implement globally competitive travel solutions which enable us to make a defined difference to your needs as a potential South African Travel Centre retailer. And by taking your clients further for you, we bring them closer to you.

 

MARKETING SUPPORT

South African Travel Centre promotes brand awareness and sales generation – through our own advertising campaign. Access to SATC’s own advertising agency enables the retailer to create an individualised look and feel to their advertising, whilst still benefiting from the broader campaigns run by SATC. Retail outlet branding assistance and marketing collateral is also provided.

 

COMMUNICATIONS

SATC’s  exclusive Intranet provides our retailers with access to special offers for their own clients, and all business-related information.

In addition, it is a personal vehicle for news, views, opinions, competitions and the opportunity to interact with fellow SATC retailers, sharing information and offering support. The Intranet is not only a business tool, but is also a recreational site for our retailers.

 

TRAINING

Every SATC retailer is a valued partner in our consortium, and both time and money are invested to ensure that optimum efficiency is reached. Training is a vital component of the relationship, and covers many aspects, some of which are:

  • Orientation training on SATC products and services
  • Training programmes tailored to each retailer’s requirements
  • Soft skills training
  • Cold calling techniques
  • Skills development facilitation
  • All training is offered at a reduced fee, negotiated with trainers on behalf of our retailers

 

SUPPORT

Along with regular account management support from key SATC staff, our retailers are also offered assistance in the following areas:

  • Business development support (tender proposals/bid documents)
  • New business recruitment (possible referrals or possible share in selected major corporate accounts secured by SATC)
  • Service fee structures (how to price products and services)
  • Supplier workshops and product knowledge
